Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2011

Chanel je neizostavan deo Haute Couture nedelje mode, pa ću ga stoga i ovde pomenuti, mada očekujem ogromnu količinu modnog hejta od strane Chanel ljubitelja, pošto mene ovaj brend nikada nije preterano oduševio. :)

Karl Lagerfeld, ekscentričan kao i obično, ovog puta je svoje modele prošetao pod neonskim svetlima i mesečinom, iako je običaj da Haute Couture revije počinju najkasnije u 17h. Ali ne bi Karl bio Karl da nije bilo po njegovom. Ambijent je bio savršen, ali su slike ipak ispale za nijansu lošije zbog njega. Pogledajmo zajedno kako izgleda nova Chanel kolekcija:

Chanel is an integral part of the Haute Couture fashion week, so I will therefore mention it here, although I expect a huge amount of fashion disapproval by Chanel lovers, since this brand had never overly impressed me. :)

Karl Lagerfeld, eccentric as usual, this time had his models walking under neon lights and moonlight, though Haute Couture fashion shows usually begin before 17h. But Karl wouldn't be Karl without doing something like this. The ambiance was perfect, but the pictures are a bit worse then usual because of it. Let's take a look at new Chanel collection:



A ovo na slikama je samo delić onoga što je viđeno, s obzirom da je čak 70 modela prikazano, za šta uvek kažem svaka čast. Većina modela mi se, međutim, nije dopala uopšte. U pitanju su neprirodni krojevi, pojedini komadi koji bezlično vise, teksture materijala koje nikako ne volim da vidim osim na svojoj baki ili slično. I obuća, Lagerfeld me iz sezone u sezonu razočarava izborom obuće, ove čizme ne bih ni da komentarišem. S druge strane, nekoliko haljina sa printom mi se dopalo, ali ja bih njih pre svrstala u Ready-to-wear nego u Haute Couture. Manekenke deluju prelepo, fantastična šminka i frizura. Česta upotreba crne boje i duge ''sirena'' suknje dobijaju veeeliki plus od mene. Moji favoriti se nalaze na poslednje dve slike, a najomiljeniji je na poslednjoj u sredini, još jedan ''male-inspired'' komplet, ne znam zašto, oni mi se baš dopadaju u poslednje vreme.

And what you see here is only a fraction of it, soon as there were as many as 70 models in the show. Most of the models I did not like at all I must say. There are unnatural cuts, individual pieces that wouldn't fit anybody and textured material that I don't like to see on anyone other than my grandmother. And shoes, Lagerfeld disappoints me from season to sesason with his selection of shoes, I don't even want to comment on these boots. On the other hand, a few dresses with prints I like, but I'd rather rank them in the Ready-to-wear than Haute Couture. Models seem beautiful, with fantastic makeup and hairstyles. Frequent use of black and long ''mermaid'' skirts is the only thing I really liked. My favorites are on the last two pictures, a biggest favorite is on the last picture in the middle, another ''male-inspired'' suit for women, I do not know why, but I really like those lately.
